A Cottagecore Dream Made with Natursaga's Checkered Fabric

Hello all you lovely people!

You know how much I've been longing to finally create with Natursaga's own fabrics, and now it's finally happened! First up in my sewing studio was a dress in the wonderful checkered cotton fabric in a lovely dark mint shade. The pattern I used is the Lilana dress from Mila Onni patterns, a real favorite that works perfectly with all kinds of cotton fabrics.

This dress feels like it was made for all of spring and summer's adventures. The fabric is so light and airy, which makes it incredibly comfortable to wear even when the sun is scorching. And the result? A real cottagecore dream! I love how the classic checkered pattern gets a new lease on life in the fresh mint color.

What's so fantastic about this checkered fabric is its versatility. It's truly beautiful on its own, but I can also imagine how lovely it would be to combine with some of Natursaga's floral or other patterned fabrics in future projects. The possibilities are endless!

This dress is guaranteed to become a favorite in my wardrobe this spring and summer. I can see myself wearing it both to work on a sunny day and for relaxing moments in the cottage. It's just that relaxed and comfortable that I like it.

And the best part of all? It was really easy to sew! The fit was created smoothly with the help of elastic, which made the project both fun and rewarding. And believe me, this is just the beginning!
